Before St Nikolaus comes, you must polish your boots. The boys did such a great job, they can polish their own school shoes from now on.
On the eve of Dec. 6th, St Nikolaus goes from house to house carrying a book in which all the children's deeds are written. If they have been good, he fills their boots, with delicious fruits, nuts and candies. If not, they may find potatoes, coal, or twigs.
As you can see the boys and Mummy have been very good so far this year. Daddy seems to have been a little bit naughty, and got a few twigs too.
