Toasting Marshmellows

Down the back of Granma and Grampa's place, the kids learnt how to toast marshmellows.

Benson and Ripper

Motor Bike riding with Uncle Travis

While Phil and Loiuse went for a horse ride, Travis took the kids on the motor bike.

Horse riding with Auntie Louise

The kids love seeing Auntie Louise and going to ride the horses. They had a couple of pony rides.
first some grooming

then some carrots

finally some pony rides

Phil and Loiuse saddled up and went for a ride in the bush, where they saw wallabies and lyrebirds.

Some of the other horses came up to the fence for some carrots and to see what was going on (actually I think they only came because they knew Louise would have carrots)

Bubble Explosion

This is what happens in the spa bath, when you add more bubble bath mixture! (We caught a certain blonde haired boy doing it the next evening...so that explained this sudden overflow!)

Wandiligong Maze

Off to the Wandiligong Hedge maze about a 10 minute drive from Bright.  We had lots of fun getting lost.  The boys had led the way all the time, and we finally got out.

(Cameron with one missing tooth at the top, and the next one is ready to fall out too!)

River Walk near Bright

Every morning, the boys and Granma took Benson for a walk along the Ovens River bank, which is just at their back gate.

...and there happens to be a park along the way!

Teacher gifts

End of school year is close, and I have been making presents for the boys teachers

A table runner for Alexander's teacher.

A scarf for Cameron's teaching assistant and a beanie for Cameron's teacher.

Here is the matching scarf for the beanie that I made him for Xmas.

I know it is the middle of Summer here, so these gifts will look odd....but we have hardly had a Summer here yet...and it won't be long till Winter hits us again!
