Phil went to the Chris Cornell concert with his (Northern) Irish musician mate, Gavin. Gavin is a massive fan, and I went along expecting a really good show - and certainly wasn't disappointed! If you have heard of Soundgarden, Chris is the lead singer. He has some new solo material, which was great.
He played for 2 hours straight - the first hour was the new stuff and the second half was a lot of his older material. He even did a brilliant cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". A great show.

We had an awesome time, and it was a great way to kick off my birthday weekend!
