and then headed out on the street to see what was happening there.
It was -9 degrees, so it took us about 10 minutes to get everyone into hats. coats and gloves and then venture outside. Nicola and Alaisdair had brought some sparklers and the kids had fun with those.
You can buy fireworks here at the supermarket, newsagent, hardware house....pretty much anywhere....and big boxes of them.Anne and Duncan's neighbours had bought loads...so we watched them light all the fireworks in the street.
So, Happy New Year to you all, and we hope that this year brings us lots of good health, laughter and sanity!
