Oktoberfest in Berlin

ohh.....should have taken my camera last night! We went to a German restaurant beside Schlachtensee (south-west Berlin). 

Beer was served in 1 litre steins! Boy, were they heavy!!! 

The kids were served lemonade in 1/2 litre steins! 

A lot of fun, lots of beer swilling men and women, music played by lederhosen wearing men. After 2 1/2 beers Phil was a bit worse for wear, and so were the other guys we were with.

    More practise in drinking needed for the next time by Phil. There is an Oz standard to be upheld and 2 1/2 glasses isn't passable.

    Tee hee, I remember drinking beer out of those humongous steins in a pub in Munich several years ago. It wasn't Oktoberfest either but it was just as fun :) If I remember correctly a half stein did me in and I think DH only managed one, so Phil did real well!!
